Promoting Your Own Ebook!

If you have created your own ebook you will want to get it in front of as many people as possible for as little work and cost as possible.
You could go on Twitter and tweet every hour “Hey just wrote an ebook” and leave a “tiny url” but that would probably get you un-followed faster than eBooks would fly off the virtual shelves.
Is there a better way? Well what is your ebook about?

If your ebook is about ebay for example you could answer tweets about problems that deal with using ebay and simply put a link to your sales page on your Twitter profile this way people who read and follow your good advice would be interested in you, look at your profile & purchase your ebook seeing as the information you give away on Twitter is so good it easy to assume your ebook is even better.

You could use this same strategy in forums related to ebay as an unobtrusive way to earn respect within the ebay community and looked to as the go-to-guru for all things ebay!

The trick is not to appear over bearing and to self promotional. These are real people on forums looking for solutions to their problems and not expecting forum posts to be mini commercials.

Tact and patience are the watch words in social marketing. People who understand this gain large fan groups in social media and this large fan base translates into sales.

You can also start a blog about ebay. Blogs are free, (this blog was free!) and rank high in the search engines as long as new content is added regularly for specific keywords used in titles of blog entries. You could use a blog to develop a fan base of people interested in ebay and also create both advertising for your sales page with your blog and a vital link to your sales page.

Buying the keywords based around “ebay” from search engines and creating your own snappy little Adwords campaign is also another great way to get people who are interested in ebay to see your ebook. The process is easier than you would think and the directions can easily be followed at the search engines website.

Another free and easy way to get your website some visitors is to remember to put it in your signature as a link at the bottom of your emails. This way every time your email is forwarded an intact link to your sales page will get passed along.

There’s almost no end to the free and easy things you can do to promote your ebook and now you have finished this article the Internet may have changed again already and you may discover a new form of self promotion that wasn’t there yesterday!

Sell on Ebay Using Dropshippers

There comes a time when everything on the internet seems so boring and you just sit back wondering what to do with your bills. Somehow, even with the job you have (if you have one) life seems unaffordable. So, do you want to make money with your ‘boring internet’? Then, here is a sure way—Drop shipping.

Drop shipping is where a retailer sells goods to customers without having to stock them. He does so by giving order details to the wholesalers and the wholesalers ship the good directly to the customer. And so the difference between wholesaler price and the retailer price is what the retailer gets as his profit. Thousands of people have discovered this way of e-salesmanship and are making money by the hour.

Though drop shipping is gaining momentum, it also tops the list of internet frauds. It is imperative therefore to shop on reliable online shops. Top among these shops is eBay. It’s also important to identify reliable and trusted drop shipping companies so that you can earn confidence from your customers by providing a good service to them.

For you to become a retailer at eBay, you need first to register as a seller. You will also need to open a PayPal account. PayPal is one of the safest ways to transact money online. Once you join eBay, you will be charged a nominal fee for listing your products. This means you need to be professional to avoid losing money and trying to sell goods with no takers.

To overcome this, you need to identify various goods from reliable wholesalers. You can get a detailed database of them from Worldwide Brands Database, since most of the wholesalers do not advertise online. You may spend a small to get this, but it’s an investment worth it. From these wholesalers, you can identify goods which can easily sell or if it’s hard, you can also start selling your own stuff, say, an old camera you don’t use and so on. Another way is selling handicrafts from fairs or amateur artisans who sell their products a very cheap rate. By comparing what is on eBay, you may mark your price and end up making even twenty times the cost price! Selling will be made easier if you present your products professionally. Get good graphics from the selling companies or you can also get your own product pictures taken by using Photoshop. You can modify them to get a positive response from your customers.

So you now have a business. The best way to maintain it is to take care of it. List as many products as you can, there are millions of customers with money ready to spend it on eBay, help them out! Once you get the orders, follow them up with drop shipping companies that deliver on time. Let the money flow in!

If your using Ebay to sell physical products

Just a quickie for you. If you are using Ebay to sell physical products can I recommend The Auction Inspector  to you.

What is Auction Inspector?….

Auction Inspector is desktop software that scours the eBay’s “Want It Now” section for frequently repeated phrases and words, which indicate a potential market. Auction Inspector also relates the demand with the number of replies from other sellers (the supply) to see whether the product has high potential as an untapped niche market. Auction Inspector then ranks the search terms based on this “potential” (although you can also rank according to number of demands or number of replies, depending on your interest.) In short, Auction Inspector reveals hidden markets in the Want It Now marketplace. It can search eBay’s US, Canada, Australia and U.K sites.

2 Testimonials for you:

I have been selling on ebay for more than 4 years now and have never run across a tool like Auction Inspector. I’ve been using Auction Inspector for only two weeks now and I am hooked. There has never been an easier way to research “what’s hot” on ebay. Auction Inspector gives you the ability to research up and coming trends in the world-wide market place. The ease and simplicity of the Auction Inspector software makes doing research a breeze not only for the experienced eBayer but also for the beginner. I love having the ability to refine my search results and dig deeper into exact products that are in demand by using the multiple word buttons. Auction Inspector is one program that I am tempted not to turn my friends onto. I consider Auction Inspector a secret weapon in my sales and marketing arsenal. Thanks for putting together such an incredible tool.

I’m so glad I’ve had the opportunity to purchase this excellent software. I’ve previously just followed my heart and bought products, only to find that there’s no demand for them! With the Auction Inspector those days are over. It’s easy to use and will quickly let you know what’s wanted, and what isn’t. It’ll pay for itself in no time,Thanks!

I used this program myself when I sold physical stuff so I can vouch that it is an excellent piece of kit. Here’s how it works:

1) Select which eBay site you wish to inspect (US, Ca, Au or UK)

2) Select which categories you wish to inspect for trends (eg. collectibles, consumer electronics) OR keywords.

3) Start inspection!

Thats all there is to it. http://www.auctioninspector.com
